PMR'S ELLA ENCHANTED
You know that one Rabbit that just steals your heart that you are closer to than any other? That was Ella for me. I got ella at 7 weeks old along with two half brothers who were crossbreds. Ella was the only purebred of the lot and the only doe. There was always something about her something special. She had her first litter about 7-8 months old a crossbred litter NZ/MR, she was bred to my MR buck Rhett. At the time it didnt matter to me about breeding and I know most would say for shame but those babies went on to be special to the people who got them. One of those babies was a showmanship Champion. Her next litter same deal crossbred but different buck and another showing rabbit born. Then came her first Purebred NZ litter bred to a NZW buck named Max She had a litter of all steels and broken steels save for one black, they were all named friday the 13 names, I kept a little broken steel doe and named her Friday the 13. Ella was a champion going to multiple shows winning BOV and BOB and Firsts. She did every show with me since I started in Rabbits never failing, Her and I even got to compete in Round Robin together my final year in 4H in 2011. She also went to special events like SRR&CC Rabbit Queen Competition and was even specially picked to be used as a Super Round Rabbit in 2012. Ella passed away this last winter. I miss this girl a lot. Binky Free at the Rainbow Bridge girl
